Obituary for Maggie Vaughn Sewell
Maggie Vaughn Sewell departed this life Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at St. Andrew's Nursing Center.  She was the oldest of thirteen children born December 5, 1912 in Mayflower, Arkansas to Harry and Alice Vaughn who preceded her in death.Maggie enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint.  She professed a hope in Christ at an early age.  She was a member of the United Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Robert Lindsey.  She later united with the Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church.  Maggie loved her church and was faithful until her health failed.She was married to the late Jack Sewell.  To this union six children were born.  One daughter, Willie Mae Sewell preceded her in death.She leaves to mourn her passing one sister Jo Willie Horton of Toledo, OH; Two Brothers, Raymond Vaughn, Temple, TX; and Eural Vaughn of Benton Harbor, MI; Two sons, Jasper (Joyce) Sewell of Conway; Emmerson Sewell of Chula Vista, CA; Three Daughters, Lutisha Hollis, Blytheville, Arkansas; Patricia Sewell and Hattie Shannon both of Houston, TX;  Grandchildren Gloria of Blytheville; Pamela (Bobby) of North Little Rock; Derrick (Pamela), Kendrick (Ethel), Torre, Shanda (James), Ashley (Sherry) of Conway, Amelia (Kevin) Vincent of Seattle, WA and Tiffany of Houston, TX.  Great grandchildren Alvin, Corey, Kadra, Byron, Darren, Chavon, Jeffrey, Courtney, Ethan, and Hannah.  Great great grandson and granddaughter Joshua and Saige.  Special friends Tonya Alverez, Larry and Karen Lanes.  She also has many other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be Saturday 2:30pm Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church.Interment Robinson Cemetery.  Arrangements Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Conway.  "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED...... WE CARE".
