Mrs. Mable Simon Jamerson, 94, of Little Rock departed this life Sunday April 25, 2011 (Easter Sunday).Â
Born September 11, 1916Â in Little Rock, AR she was the daughter of Mary Templeton Hill and Rev. I.O. Hill of Blackwell, AR (Conway County).
She was preceded in death by her parents Mary and I.O. Hill, her husbands Nage Simon and Rev. Jesse Jamerson; Five Sisters, Margaret L. Davis, Ruby Hill Harris, Rev. Edna E. Hill McIver Brown, Unita Hill Cofield, and Phyllis Hill Johnson; One Brother, William (Billy) Hill; Two Nephews, Edward McIver and Larry Joel Davis.
She is survived by one brother, Johaan Hill (Mankid) of Detroit, MI. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2011 at Corinthian Baptist Church, 2291 Chelsea Avenue in Memphis, TN. Visitation 12 noon - 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011 at St. Matthew #3 Baptist Church in Blackwell, AR. Interment Rose of Sharon Cemetery in Blackwell, AR on Saturday.
