Obituary for Lillie M. Williams
Mrs. Lillie M. Williams, 74, of Maumelle, AR departed this life on Monday, December 19, 2022. She was born May 12, 1948 in North Little Rock, AR to the late Emmett and Ruth (Pace) Moton.
Lillie was a devoted member of Trinity Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She was compassionate, kind and always saw the best in people. When things were difficult, she would always say. "This too shall pass."
Lillie was an amazing woman. Her love and support for us in all we did was extraordinary. She sat through games, sports practices, rehearsals and recitals. She typed papers and read books we were reading in college. She always found a way to make everything better and make us feel safe and loved. That kind of unconditional love knows no boundaries. We are heartbroken that she is no longer here with us. We take comfort in knowing she is at peace and we will see her again. We miss you and love you Mom.
She is survived by her husband Cecil Williams of Maumelle, AR; one son Victor D. Williams of Salem, Mass.; one daughter Ruvanna Joi Williams of Huntsville, AL; one sister Essie Lasker of Conway, AR; one granddaughter Nolah Williams of Salem, Mass. and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Trinity Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 14208 Old Maumelle Road, North Little Rock, AR. Visitation 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment Perkins Park Cemetery, 13700 Thunder Mountain Road, Maumelle, AR.
