Obituary for Lillie Brown
Mrs. Lillie Mary Ann "SISTER" Brown, 75, of Little Rock, AR was born on August 26, 1947 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Aaron, Sr. and Dorothy Criswell Thornton. She later married Ethelbert Brown, Sr.
She moved her residence to Heaven where Jesus resides on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Jesus held her hand and then walked with her.
Lillie accepted Christ early in her life. She read the Holy Bible daily and followed Jesus’ plan.
Lillie graduated from Horace Mann High School, attended Philander Smith College and graduated from Grambling University. Later in life, Lillie graduated from culinary school. She retired from Baptist Health after 40 years of service.
Lillie is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her son, Ezell; sisters Lissie Marie and Lucille; brothers Thomas, Sr. and Rev. Chester, Sr. (Donna) and a host of relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held 2:30 pm, Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Greater Mt. Olive Cemetery, 728 Mt. Olive Road, Plumerville, AR. Visitation 3:00 pm -6:00 pm, Friday, April 14, 2023 at the funeral home.
The family has requested that masks be worn during the visitation and at the graveside services.
