Obituary for Leroy Eddie Credit
Mr. Leroy Credit, 63, of Mayflower, Arkansas departed this life Thursday, December 5, 2013. Â Leroy was born on August 18, 1950 in Mayflower, AR to the late Moses and Minnie Lee Credit. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Bobbie Jean Garth and Joyce Ann Smith; two brothers, Thomas Credit and Clyde Boyd.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Pine Street High School, Mayflower High School and Arkansas Baptist College. He served his country in the US Navy. He was employed by AmTran Bus Company and Virco Manufacturing Company.
He will be greatly missed by his brothers, Charles (Essie) Credit, Andrew (Verlean) Credit, Joseph (Geneva) Credit and Wayne Credit, all of Mayflower, AR; Brother-in-laws Leroy Smith, Jr. of Kansas City, KS and Ellison Garth of Mayflower, AR; special niece, Leslie Credit and a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 am, Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 795 Hwy 365 South, Mayflower, AR. Visitation 5:30 pm - 7 pm Friday, December 13, 2013 at the church.
