Obituary for Leon Henderson
Mr. Leon Henderson, 60, of Conway, departed this life Monday, March 12, 2012. He was born on November 28, 1951 to Casterene Cunningham Henderson and the late L.V. Henderson, Sr. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Darryl and Harold Henderson.
He leaves to cherish precious memories, a loving and devoted wife, Virginia Ann Henderson of Conway, AR; one son, Monte (Kimberly) Henderson of Fayetteville, AR; two daughters, Tonya (Bennie) Jackson of Little Rock, AR and Tabatha (Eric) Branch of Killeen, TX; his six precious grandchildren, Eric, Jr., Riley, Reed, Elijah, Kaleb and Bliss; mother, Casterene Henderson of Conway, AR; Three brothers, Claude (Beverly) Henderson, Lee V. (Tammy) Henderson, both of Conway, AR and Glen (Shelia) Henderson of Rowlett, TX; Seven sisters, Verna (Lloyd) Hervey, Ernestine (Larry) Acklin, Cozette (Leon) James, Carolyn (Odie) Phillips, Vicki (Stevey) Flood, Melissa (Darryl) Foster, all of Conway, Ar and Donna (Winston) Turner of Sherwood, AR; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church, 601 Spruce Street, Conway, AR. Visitation 6-7 pm Saturday at Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 4949 Prince Street, Conway.
