Obituary for Lee Royace Edwards
Lee Royace Edwards, 73, of Maumelle, AR departed this life December 4, 2010. Born to the late Cleophous and Emma Lee Perkins Edwards on August 5, 1937. He was an army veteran and an entrepreneur. He was a member of Trinity Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he was a deacon and a member of the Trinity Grove Male Chorus.
He is survived by his wife, Ida Mae Edwards of Maumelle, AR; four sons, Roy Edwards, Eric Edwards, and Eugene Hayes, all of Maumelle and Kenneth Hayes of Sherwood, AR; five daughters, Marilyn Wright, Beverly Edwards, Regina Eruagbere, Gladys Guy, all of Maumelle and Denise James of Suffolk, Virginia. One brother, Kenneth Edwards of Maumelle and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Trinity Grove Baptist Church, Maumelle, AR. Visitation 2-6 p.m. Friday at Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home Chapel, 8821 Colonel Glenn, Little Rock. Interment Perkins Cemetery. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED...... WE CARE".
