Gorden (Gardner) departed this life October 4, 2006 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born to late W.C and Levada Gardner in Philadelphia, MS. He was employed as an auto mechanic. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Maxine Bell Gorden, Sherwood, Ar; Children Stephanie R. Gorden-Toliver, St. Louis, MO; Michael L. Gorden; Jimmy Wayne Halcrombe, Bobby McCray all of Sherwood, Ar.; Bobby D. Dawson, Ft. Smith, Ar; Tayna Ester, Menifee, Ar; Five sisters -  Mary Overby, Silver Springs, MD; Katherine Leflore, Thelma Stewart, Eula Mae Luckett all of Carthage, MS; Bettie Cooks, Killeen, TX; Two Brothers - Willie C. Gardner, and Pastor Bennie C. Gardner,Sr.; 8 Grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Tuesday October 10, 2006 at 2:30pm at Rock Of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, Maumelle, AR.  Interment United Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation Monday 2-6pm Larry G.
