Obituary for Larry Cornell Jenkins, Sr.
Mr. Larry Cornell Jenkins, Sr., 64, of Mayflower, AR departed this life Friday, October 23, 2015. He was born to the late Hosey and Mozella Jenkins in Cotton Valley, LA on October 29, 1950.Â
He retired from Remington Arms as an Boiler inspector, served on the Mayflower School Board, serviced in Antarctica's National Science Foundation and was a member of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Jenkins of Mayflower, AR; two daughters Shyra Jackson of Perris, CA and LaToya Jenkins Toney of Sheridan, AR; one son, Larry Jenkins, Jr. of Mayflower, AR; sisters Ozella Gavin, Marilyn Jenkins, Christine Smith, Marsha Fortenberry and Irish Malone; brothers Tony Jenkins and Phillip Jenkins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 795 Hwy 365 South, Mayflower, AR. Visitation 1-6 pm, Friday, October 30, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment Palarm Cemetery in Mayflower, AR.
