Obituary for Laron Lasker
Mr. Laron Lasker was born to Sylvanus Jr. and Carolyn (Collier) Lasker on October 3, 1975, in Conway, Arkansas. He made his heavenly transition on Thursday, August 25, 2023.
Laron is preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Lasker and father Sylvanus Lasker, Jr.
He kept his close friendships from high school until adulthood, living by the phrase, “It’s quality. Not quantity.”
Laron attended Conway High School, Class of 1994, and joined the U.S. Army afterward to serve his country, where he developed more lifelong friendships.
During his time in the Army, he met the love of his life, Laura Lopez of El Paso, TX. Laron and Laura married October 16, 1998 and after serving in the Army, the couple decided to move to Laron’s hometown of Conway, AR. Later the couple decided to relocate to San Antonio, TX.
Laron leaves to cherish his loving memories: Wife Laura Lasker of San Antonio, TX; two brothers, Terrence H. Collier (Kendra) of Little Rock, AR; Terrell C. Lasker of Williamsburg, VA; one godson, Jalan Jointer of N. Little Rock, AR; three nieces, Tanita Collier and Deidra Duhart (Jeremy) of Little Rock, AR; Makayla Lasker of Williamsburg, VA; nephew, Tyson Lasker of Williamsburg, VA; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, family and friends.
Memorial Services for Laron will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Mt. Sinai Church of God In Christ, 349 Highway 365, Conway, AR 72032.
