Obituary for Kenneth Tyus
Mr. Kenneth Tyus, 59 of Mayflower, Arkansas departed this life September 17, 2010. Born to the late Jethro Tyus, Sr. and Permilla Hendrix Tyus in Centerpoint, Arkansas.
Kenneth was employed as a construction worker and was of the Baptist faith. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jacob Hightower Tyus and a sister, Shirley Darnell Tyus. He leaves to cherish his memory daughter, Kendra Tyus of Houston, TX; 6 Grandchildren; Two brothers, Dewayne Tyus of Conway and Jethro Tyus, Jr. of Flint, MI; Three sisters, Ethel Payne, Eartha Macon and Betty Tyus of Conway.Â
Funeral services are scheduled for 11am Saturday September 25, 2010 at Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 4949 Prince Street, Conway. Family Visitation 7-8pm Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Conway. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED..... WE CARE".
