Obituary for Keeven LePaul Dodson
Keeven LePaul Dodson, 58, departed this life to be with our Lord, Monday, April 27, 2020. Born March 29, 1962 in Los Angeles, CA, Keeven was a beloved son, father and brother.

He was a graduate of historic Little Rock Central High School and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he majored in Construction Management. He served with distinction in the US Army and enjoyed a successful career in the construction industry. Keeven was a doting father and found the most joy in the fellowship of family and friends. He was an avid musician who played multiple instruments, sharing his talents with his church and playing regionally with local bands.

Keeven accepted Christ at an early age at First Baptist Church in Los Angeles, CA., later joining Community of Christians Church in Little Rock. He also enjoyed attending St. John Baptist Church in Little Rock where he often played guitar in the church band.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Dodson, and brother, Darin Dodson.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Joyce Dodson; daughter, Meghan Dodson and her mother, Kristine O’Neal; daughter, Logan Dodson and her mother, Angela Richardson Dodson; brother, Mica Dodson; sisters: Pamela Smith, Colette Honorable, and Coleen (Kirk) Jeter; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held 3-6 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2020, at the Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, 8821 Colonel Glenn in Little Rock. A private graveside service will be held Friday, May 1, 2020. Guests are requested to wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines during the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in honor of Keeven to the Disabled Veterans Association, VA Regional Office, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, (VAMC), North Little Rock, AR 72114-1756.
