Obituary for Kayla Joselyn Janelle Hallman

Ms. Kayla Jocelyn Janelle Hallman was the first of three daughters born to Monroe Hallman Jr. and Bridgette Holcomb on an icy and cold Thursday morning in Conway, Arkansas. Kayla was a Daddy's girl, so you know she was very spoiled, but loved by many. She didn't like to be away from her Mom or Dad and she would cry when left at the babysitter or daycare.

Kayla attended Conway Public Schools and graduated in 2012 from Conway High School. After graduating, she attended the University of Central Arkansas and later went on to attain a cosmetology license in 2016. This is the time when PrettyFace was born. She loved hair, fashion, and makeup. Making women beautiful was her thing. Kayla was not only an entrepreneur, professionally she worked as a personal banker at Bank of America and most recently Conway Corporation as a customer service pro, as she would say.

She was a take charge kind of girl with the will to succeed. Kayla was the shining star in the room and her light shined bright in all ways. No matter the obstacles she may have faced, she was loving, encouraging and continued to give light and love. The drive to succeed also included being a mother to her son, Carsyn. He was her everything, but she didn't hesitate to discipline him when needed. She always wanted to be the best Mom possible to Carsyn.

Kayla lived her life to the fullest until God called her home on Monday, December 12th, 2022 to enter into eternal rest. She joins her paternal grandparents, Alberta Ware Hallman and Monroe Hallman Sr., grandfather, Abie Credit, and uncle, Derald Holcomb.

Kayla has taken flight to her heavenly home and leaves to cherish her memories, son Carsyn Thomas; mother Bridgette (Dedrick) Harris; father Monroe (Michelle) Hallman, Jr.; sisters, Maya and Kyla Hallman; maternal grandmother, Lillie Mae Credit; aunts, Kellie Hallman and Marie Abrams. She also leaves a loyal and dedicated friend, Gabrielle Patterson and host of cousins, relatives and friends.

As we remember our beloved Kayla, please be encouraged to spread light and love to one another in spite of the daily challenges in life...
