Obituary for Johnny Bynum
Mr. Johnny Bynum, 65, of Mayflower, Ar departed this life on April 24, 2018. He was born on September 15, 1952 in Mayflower, Ar to the late Cecil Bynum, Sr. and Alberta Harper Bynum.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
He attended Mayflower High School and retired from the military as an Air Force mechanic.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Nenita (Griay) Bynum; son Torey Bynum of Little Rock, AR; daughter Latasha (Ryan) Bynum Marchand of Los Angeles, CA; a stepdaughter Meriam (Stephen White) Butler of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Raymond Butler of Mayflower, AR; Jaela Rule and Janie Rule, both of Los Angeles, CA; Desiree White, Akila Destiny White, and Deondra White, all of Atlanta, GA and Debra Higgins of Beebe, AR; four sisters Bobbie Sewell and Helen Criswell, both of Mayflower, AR; Jennetta Irby of Conway, AR and Tina (Donnie) Ikpa of Lawrenceville, Georgia; Eight brothers Clarence (Earnestine) Bynum and Harry (Evette) Bynum, both of Mayflower, AR; Alfred (Carolyn) Hoskins and Milton (Marilyn) Bynum, both of Conway, AR; Tony Bynum, Malvin Bynum, and Calvin (Latonya) Bynum, all of Conway, Ar and Larry Bynum of Petersburg, Virginia; the last living Uncle George Harper and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, 8112 Bicentennial Road in North Little Rock, AR. Visitation 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Friday, May 4, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment Palarm Cemetery in Mayflower, Ar.
