Obituary for Johnny Bankston
Mr. Johnny Bankston, 67, of Conway, departed this life May 22, 2012. He was born on April 14, 1945 to the late Charlene Erby Bankston and Clayton Bankston in Marianna, AR. He was a farmer, worked for the AR Hwy Department and a Paratrooper in the Army. Mr. Bankston was a member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Vanette Bankston of Little Rock; four daughters, Pamela Bankston of Atlanta, GA, Sharon Fields, Michelle Coleman and Claudia Bankston, all of Little Rock;Two brothers, Larry Bankston of MS and Evans Bankston of Chicago, IL; Two sisters, Vicie Williams and Deloris Ringo, both of Chicago, IL; grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, AR.Â
