John T. Bankston, 80 of Greenbrier, Arkansas departed this life September 10, 2006 at Hospice Homecare. John was born February 6, 1926 to the late George Bankston and Alberta Bankston in Milner, Georgia.  John was retired from the United States Postal Service, he was a mason and a member of the Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Twin Groves, Arkansas. John was preceded in death by two sons David Brown and Greagory Bankston and two brothers Willie George Bankston and Albert C. Bankston.He leaves to cherish his memory Wife- Morris Bankston, Greenbrier, Arkansas; Four Sons, Fredrick Brown, Detroit, Michigan; Donald Brown, Port Huron, Michigan; Kirk Brown, Fontana, CA; John T. Bankston, Jr., Atlanta, GA; One Daughter - Peaches Bankston, Toledo, OH; Three step-children, Cecil Armstrong, Jr., Grandview, MO; Roy Stubbs, Los Angeles, CA; Ruby Garth, Mayflower, Arkansas.Funeral services will be 1pm Saturday September 16, 2006 at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Hwy 365 South. Interment Palarm Cemetery.  Family hour 12 noon - 1pm Saturday September 16, 2006 at the church.  Services entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Conway. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED....... WE CARE".
