Obituary for Joe M. McNabb
Mr. Joe Morris McNabb, 70, of Springfield, AR departed this life May 7, 2021 at Conway Regional Medical Center. He was born March 8, 1951 in Pike County, Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Linnie Pearl Brunson McNabb; five sisters Shirley Tolbert, Leola Jones, Lillie Perdue, Mary Wingard and Felicia McNabb and one stepson Terance Williams.
Joe loved being a mechanic. He worked as a mechanic for 20 years at AT’s Auto Shop in Flint, Michigan. Joe enjoyed life and entertaining family and friends. He also liked helping people in his community.
Joe leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife Georgia McNabb; four sons Freddie L. (Patti) Culver, Wesley of Elba, AL; Jason McNabb of N. Hollywood, CA; Joey McNabb of Flint, MI and stepson William Parker of Germany; three daughters Shira Jackson and Tiffany Robinson, both of Flint, MI; Unita Greene and stepdaughter Phyllis (Nate) Reese.
He also leaves 14 grandchildren and siblings Willie Pearl Lovett, Ola (James) Jackson, Christine Robinson, Martha Griffin, Evon Smith, Robert McNabb, Sarah (Robert) Lipsey, Kerry McNabb and Coretta (Charles) Davis and one brother-in-law Don Wingard. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and friends to cherish his memory including special friend and cousin Mr. Willie Hampton.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Greater Mt. Olive Cemetery in Plumerville, AR. Visitation 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Friday, May 14, 2021 at the funeral home.
