Obituary for Jimmy England
Jimmy Lavern England was born 11 December 1948 at Batesville, Arkansas. Jimmy passed away 21 December 2008 in the VA Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Alma Gist England.
He is survived by his wife, Molly Murphy England of Conway; a sister, Linda Rorie and her husband, Kenneth, of Van Buren, Arkansas; niece, Elizabeth Petray, and her husband, Frank; nephew Christopher Rorie of Colorado; great-nephews, Connor and Chandler Petray and Andrew and Austyn Rorie, all of Van Buren; two stepsons, Robert Sturgeon of Jacksonville and Steven Sturgeon of Alexander; grandson Eric Bennett and great-granddaughter, Olivia Bennett, of Morrilton; granddaughters, Jessica and Allysa Sturgeon, of Alexander, AR.
Jimmy was retired from the U.S. Navy and from carpentry. Services will be at Arkansas National Cemetery, NLR, Arkansas, 9 January 2009, at 1:00 pm. The Reverend Gene Efrid will officiate the service at the gravesite.
