Obituary for Jerron DeSean Turner
Mr. Jerron DeSean Turner was born November 10, 1994 in Conway, Arkansas to Jerron Derrell Turner and Wilma Yolanda Turner. DeSean made his transition from this life on Friday, April 12, 2024.
He was born into a Christian family and accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church and remained a member until his death. He served as a youth member on the Usher Board.
His undying love for the sport of basketball, started out playing AAU basketball, progressing into his High School years. Based on his talent, he was awarded an Athletic Scholarship and played at Central Baptist College (CBC) in Conway, Arkansas.
DeSean had a passion for spending time with his family and friends, but, the love for his ten month old son, exceeded new heights. Wherever and whenever you saw him, you were greeted with a huge smile. DeSean was friends to one-and-all. He worked at Virco Mfg and held a second job at Insomnia Cookies.
DeSean leaves to cherish his memories a beautiful baby son, Jaison DeSean Turner; parents, Derrell and Wilma Turner; sister, Angela Turner; nephew, Jayden Turner; niece, Kai Parker; grandmother, Angie Tyus; a special friend, Gisel Rios and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, April 19, 2024. Visitation 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Thursday, April 18, 2024. Both services will be held at Greater Pleasant Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 601 Spruce Street, Conway, AR. Interment Mt. Grove Cemetery in Greenbrier, AR.
