Obituary for Jerome Rhine
Mr. Jerome Rhine, 61, of Mayflower, Ar departed this life Thursday, April 11, 2013. He was born on June 29, 1951 to the late Iva Lee Davie (Acklin) and James Rhine in Mayflower, Ar. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Willie Lee Rhine, Ray Rhine, Malvin Rhine, Doris Marie Jordan, Betty Rhine, Annette Rhine, Pat Rhine and Louise Rhine.
He was employed as a driver by the City of Little Rock Wastewater for 18 years. He was a faithful and dedicated member of Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as the Chief Usher for the church and for the Middlewestern District. Jerome also served his country in the United States Army.
Jerome is survived by his wife, Yolanda Kirby Rhine; one son, Malachi Kirby of Mayflower, AR; three daughters, MaKayla Kirby of Mayflower, AR; Tyran Brown of West Memphis, AR and Monique Rhine of Little Rock, AR; one brother, Raymond Dale Ryan of Conway, AR; four sisters, Vanessa Bryant of Mayflower, AR, Earlene (Ghulam) Malik of Kansas City, MO; Lisa Clemente of Conway, AR and Sharon (Carl) Ricks of Conway, AR; one granddaughter, Kamaya Sampson of Little Rock, Ar and a host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 795 Hwy 365, Mayflower, AR. Interment Palarm Cemetery. Visitation 6-7 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 at the church.
