Jermell LaSean Thompson was born January 25, 1989 in Morrilton, Arkansas to Robin Thompson and Anthony Flakes. Jermell accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Hickory Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he remained a member.Â
Jermell departed this life Saturday November 29, 2008. Jermell was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Eddie Lee Gunnels. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, a son Alex Tomes, Parents Robin Thompson and Anthony Flakes. Two brothers - Branden Thompson and Anthony Flakes II; Five Sisters - Tar-Easha Hood, Princess Flakes, Charndae Dickerson, Jasmine Canady and Ashley Thompson.  Grandparents - John Thompson of Washington, D.C.; Jacquelyn Flakes of Arlington, TX; and Don (Barbara) Strickland of Little Rock, Arkansas. Great-Grandmother Etta Strickland of Menifee; Six Aunts Melonie Martin, Wanda Johnson, Wendy Thompson, LaTrice Flakes, Michelle Flakes and Tamita Flakes; Three uncles, Albert Flakes, Juan Thompson and Donnie Strickland. God-Mother Machell Johnson and a host of Great aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services 11am Saturday December 6, 2008 at Hickory Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Morrilton. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Morrilton. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED...... WE CARE".
