Mr. Jaykwantay "JJ" Â Girley, 18, of Wooster, AR, departed this life Wednesday, October 2, 2013.
He was born on March 4, 1995 in Little Rock, AR to Stanley Phillips and Hope Girley. He was a 2013 graduate of Greenbrier High School and a freshman student at the University of Central Arkansas where he played intramural flag football with Hughes Hall.
He is survived by his mother, Hope Girley of Wooster, AR; father, Stanley Phillips of Little Rock, AR; one brother, Derrick Girley of Wooster, AR; one sister, Twokwanna Girley of Wooster, AR; grandmother, Catherine Girley of Wooster, AR; grandfather, Albert Girley of Little Rock, AR; aunt, Runda Girley of Wooster, AR; cousin Brandi Gurley of Wooster, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends.Â
Funeral services will be held 12:30 pm Thursday, October 10, 2013 at True Holiness Saints Center, 198 Hwy 286 East, Conway, AR. The body will lie in state 1-5 pm Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment Arkansas Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville, AR.
