Obituary for Janice M. Holden
Janice M. Davis Holden 52 of Maumelle, departed this life Thursday October 19, 2006 at John L. McClellan Veteran's Hospital.  Born May 23, 1954 to the late Otis Davis & Sylvia Perkins Davis in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Janice confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized and united with the Trinity Grove Baptist Church. Janice was united in holy matrimony to Johnnie Holden II on October 20, 1979 to her true love. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Janice was the floral arranger for the church, she served as a faithful choir and song leader. She was also on the kitchen committee and was the wedding coordinator. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Ethel Hamilton and Betty Dooley, one brother James Davis. She leaves to cherish her memory Husband, Johnnie Holden II, Little Rock; Two children LaKeisha Sharpley, Little Rock; Shannon Holden, North Little Rock; One step-daugher, Nikeitha Isbell, North Little Rock; Two Grandchildren Nina and Naija Sharpley. Four brothers, Theodore Davis, Kansas City, MO; Lee Wallace Davis, Leo Davis; Otis Davis all of North Little Rock; Two sisters Viola Haynes, North Little Rock; Cleo Muldrew, Maumelle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday October 28, 2006 at Trinity Grove Baptist Church. Interment Perkins Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home 8821 Colonel Glenn, Little Rock. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED....... WE CARE".
