Obituary for Janet Lee Latham
Mrs. Janet Lee Latham, 81, of Russellville, departed this life Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at her home. She was born November 22, 1935 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Sherman Erickson and Fern Erickson (nee Swanson). She graduated from Long Beach High school, Long Beach, California, in 1954. She was a member of the Phi Kappa Delta sorority.
She is survived by her devoted husband George and their son Paul Latham of Springdale, daughter Lori Hankins of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, son and daughter-in-law Chris and Jodine Latham of Grants Pass, Oregon, and daughter and son-in-law Sally and Eddie Lawrence of Russellville.
She is also survived by their fifteen grandchildren, Leslie Latham, Rebecca Hill, Jennifer Latham, Eric Latham, Rhesa Campbell, Sarah Hankins, Rachel Latham, Melissa Mantzouranis, Joshua Latham, Kyle Latham, Timothy Latham, Jeremy Latham, CJ Latham, Joseph Carr, and Elisabeth Carr, as well as 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother John William Erickson, and granddaughter Megan Carr Jones.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Welcome Hill Assembly of God, 5379 Crow Mountain Road, with Pastor Euell Nordin officiating.
Her ashes will be interred at Hill Cemetery in Hector, Arkansas.
