Obituary for James T. Perry

Mr. James Theodore Perry, 69, of Conway, Ar departed this life Sunday, March 3, 2013. He was born on May 13, 1943 in Conway, AR to the union of Elliott and Helen Perry. 

James graduated from Pine Street High in Conway, AR in June of 1961. While in high school, he played football under the tutorage of Charles Shepherd. Theodore loved his family and he met no strangers. His favorite saying was “Making big tracks and not getting nowhere.” Theodore’s contagious smile and mischievous ways made everyone at ease.

He is survived by his loving and constant companion, Marian-married for 27 years; his mother, Helen Perry of Conway, AR. He leaves to cherish his memory four children: Gerrell (Geraldine) Garrett of Little Rock, AR,  Pamela Ann (Bobby) Evans of Russellville, AR,  Theodore Elliott (Krystal) Perry of Conway, AR, Felton John (Trina) of Jacksonville, AR and one other daughter, LaTonya Lynn (David) Clark of Detroit, MI.; a brother, Felton (Minnie) Perry of Detroit, MI.

Theodore leaves his cherished grandchildren, Ashley Alexzandrea Perry, Theodore Terrell Perry, Trent Evans, Bobby Evans, Crystal Cherice Peterson, Paige Donnell Cordel, Shaney Sherice Jackson, Gregory Gene Lawson, Dallas Lawson, and a host of great-grands.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Union Baptist Church, 1257 Lincoln Street, Conway, AR. Visitation 10:30 am Saturday prior to the services. Interment Robinson Cemetery, Conway, AR.
