Mr. James Hightower, 67, of North Little Rock, Ar departed this life on Sunday, September 15, 2019. He was born March 12, 1952 in Conway, Ar to the late William Hightower and Bernice Thompson.
He was an Army Veteran.
He is survived by one son, James Hightower, Jr. of Conway, Ar; granddaughter Alexis Hightower of Conway, AR; grandson Isaiah Hightower of Oklahoma City, OK; four sisters LueEthel Flood of Flint, MI; Bessie Wesley and Lucille Hightower, both of Conway, AR and Minnie Jean Hightower of Pasadena, CA; three brothers Johnnie (Tammy) Hightower, Luther Leon (Brenda) Hightower both of Conway, AR and Anthony Wayne Hightower of North Little Rock, AR. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Mt. Gale Missionary Baptist Church, 8 W. Brannon Drive, Conway, Ar. Visitation 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Friday, September 27, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment 11:00 am, Monday, September 30, 2019 at Ar State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR.
