Obituary for Jake Piggee, Jr.
Mr. Jake Piggee, Jr., also known as “June Bug”, 61, of Conway, AR departed this life on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Conway Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 10, 1959 in Conway, AR to the late Jake and Josephine (Piggee) Johnson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister Virginia Edwards and two brothers Gabriel and Roy Piggee, Sr.
Jake was an avid fisherman and hunter. Jake’s passion was also cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.
Jake was employed by Conway Human Development Center and as a cook at Shoney’s.
He is survived by his companion of 38 years, Tracy Mosley of Conway, AR; two daughters Lesley Mosley and Kristy (Deangelo) Grady; Six grandchildren Alex, LaTijera, Jakaleigh, Jazmine, Ernest and Preston, all of Conway, AR; five sisters Lesterine (John) Umonah, Elva Hampton, Minnie (Samuel) Woodard, Julie (Henry) Smith, Barbara Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Salem Cemetery, 4949 Prince Street, Conway, AR. Walk-Thru Visitation will be 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Friday, November 20, 2020 at the funeral home.
