Obituary for J.P. Holloway
Mr. J.P. Holloway, 99, of Menifee, AR departed this life on June 19, 2016. He was born May 29, 1917 in Como, MS to the late Sim and Agnes Holloway.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Alma Holloway; two sons, Walter Holloway and Robert Holloway; and one daughter, Queen Esther Holloway.
He is survived by five daughters, Mildred Bethel of Sardis, MS; Mary Leggett of Memphis, TN; Lucinda Hughes and Josephine Brown, both of Conway, AR and Shirley Barnett of Lancaster, TX; four sons, Frank Holloway of Memphis, TN; Warren Holloway of Fort Smith, AR; Sim Holloway of Morrilton, AR, Jerdon Holloway of Richardson, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, June 24, 2016 at Zion Temple CME Church, 3784 Hwy 64, Menifee, AR. Visitation 1:00 – 6:00 pm, Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Mt. Level Cemetery in Como, MS.
