J.C. Clemons, Sr. of Conway departed this life April 8, 2010. Born to the late Tom B. Clemons and Alize Nix Clemons in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas. Mr. Clemons was retired from the manufacturing industry in Searcy and was a longtime deacon, usher and choir member of the Zion Temple C.O.G.I.C. in Conway and he also was a United States Army Veteran.
He leaves to cherish his memory Wife, Sheila Rogers Clemons of Conway; Two Daughters, Jakishia Clemons Madison of Hot Springs; Angela Jones of Searcy; Three Sons, Bobby Clemons of Searcy; One Step-Son, Rickey Gulley of Conway; One Step-Daughter, Mary Gulley of Conway; Four Sisters, Fannie Mae Burgess of Detroit, MI; Vanteen Gatewood, Emmer Edwards, Ruby Nell Barnes all of Conway; 9 Grandchildren, 6 Great-grandchildren.
Funeral services 2:30pm Saturday Zion Temple C.O.G.I.C. 1272 Sutton Street, Conway. Interment Robinson Cemetery. Visitation Friday 6:30 - 7:30pm at the funeral home. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Conway. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED..... WE CARE".
