Obituary for Ivory White
Ivory Wayne White, 49, of Russellville, died Friday, September 1, 2006 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs. The son of O.G. Smith and Clara Walton, he was born October 31, 1956 in El Dorado. He was a 1975 graduate of El Dorado High School. Ivory attended Arkansas Tech University where he holds the track and field record. He then married Dorothy Peevy on May 31, 1980 in Russellville, Arkansas. Ivory worked several years at Arkansas Nuclear One Power Plant. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother. He leaves to cherish his memory wife, Dorothy White of Russellville; three daughters, Natalie Hunter & Husband Talerver of Greenville, South Carolina; Ashley Ogans and husband LaMarques of Meridian, Mississippi; Sade White of Russellville; Mother, Clara Walton of El Dorado; three sisters, Lovelle Watkins of Little Rock; Helen Norman of El Dorado; Sandra Lark and husband Victor of El Dorado; three brothers, Henry Walton, Jr. and wife Bessie of Warren; Rufus White of Detroit, MI; and Walter White and wife Jo Ann of Detroit, MI;Funeral services will be Friday September 8, 2006 at 3pm New Prospect Baptist Church 321 South Houston Street Russellville, Arkansas. Interment Reed Cemetery.Visitation 6-7pm Thursday at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G.
