Obituary for Ivory B Roberson
Mr. Ivory B. Roberson, 58, of Mayflower, AR departed this life Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born December 9, 1964 in Marks, MS to Martha Roberson Cullins and the late Ivory Grace. He was the first born of six children.
He is preceded in death by his father Ivory Grace; sister Anetta Roberson and his grandmother, Frances Roberson.
Ivory was such a humble person who loved his family. He certainly kept his family up on the latest blues back in the day during the 8 track and cassette tape era. He was always there to help with any task. During his many travels to Mississippi, you could always find him at his cousin Nob’s house as they would always say.
Ivory leaves to cherish his memories his mother and caregiver, Martha Cullins of Mayflower, AR; three brothers Gregory (Surriah) Roberson of Douglasville, GA; Maraine Cullins and Moses Cullins, both of Milwaukee, WI; one sister Gwenetta Cullins of Milwaukee, WI; one uncle A.B. Brown of Marks, MS; four aunts Robbie Roberson, Janice McDaniel and Shirley Bearden, all of Chicago, IL and Catherine (Jimmy) Stanford of Madison, WI. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish his memories.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church, 601 Spruce Street, Conway, AR. Visitation 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Friday, October 6, 2023 at the funeral home.
