Mr. Henderson Clay, Jr., 71, of Conway, Ar departed this life on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. He was born on September 23, 1945 in Kansas City, Mo to the late Henderson Clay, Sr. and Lillie Belle (Agee) Clay.
Henderson is preceded in death by his father, Henderson Clay, Sr.; mother, Lillie Belle Clay; brother, Walter James Clay and his sister, Mary Lee Clay.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Clay of Conway, AR; one son, Rodney (TaWanja) Morris of Austin, TX; one stepdaughter, Sandra (Michael) Munson of Dallas, TX; two grandsons, Tyrin Curry and Triston Morris; three step grandchildren, Cortney, Colby and Capri Anderson, all of Dallas, TX; five sisters Norma Strickland, Vera Clay, Linda Clay, and Anner Clay, all of Conway, AR and Katherine King of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Jimmy (Sherry) Clay of Conway, Ar.; loving nephews and nieces and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Mt. Gale Baptist Church, #8 Brannon Drive, Conway, AR. Burial 1:00 pm, Friday, October 21, 2016 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, AR.
