Helen E. Becker, 90, of Mabelvale, AR formerly of Hillsboro, Missouri entered into rest on Thursday, February 14, 2013. Born in Van Buren, Missouri, on April 12, 1922, to the late Albert and Edna (Nee Thomas) Swoffard.
She leaves behind her loving family which includes a son, Robert A. (Karen) Becker, Jr. of St. Louis; daughter, Shirley Yaw of Mabelvale, AR; brothers: Jim (Virginia) Swofford of Hillsboro, Tom (Brenda) Swofford of Festus; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Becker, Sr., her parents and a sister, Nellie Endress. Helen enjoyed fishing and going to the casino. She was a manager for a retirement home in Hillsboro until she retired.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Mahn DeSoto Chapel in DeSoto, MO. Visitation 11 am to 1 p.m. prior to services. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery.
