Obituary for Harry Jr. Lovelace
Mr. Harry Lovelace, Jr., 72, of Conway, Ar departed this life Sunday, June 2, 2013. Â He was born January 31, 1941 in North Little Rock, AR to the late Rev. Harry Lovelace, Sr and Naomi Fudge Lovelace. He was the third of eleven children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Edward Lovelace, A.T. Lovelace and Reginald Lovelace; one sister, Jimmie Lee Lovelace.
Harry accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at First Baptist Church in North Little Rock, AR. In 1960, he was enlisted in the Marine Corps and quickly rose to the rank of Sergeant. After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, Harry returned to Arkansas where he later met his future wife, Dorothy Tuggle. To this union three children were born.
Harry leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Lawrence Wardlow of Little Rock, AR; David (Mori) Rogers of Maumelle, AR and Excell (Sylvia) Boykins of Rochester, New York; Three daughters, Crystal Lovelace Blackshear, Niala Lovelace and Linda Lovelace, all of Conway, AR; Four brothers, Emmit (Ruby) Lovelace of Menifee, AR; Dearest (Alice) Lovelace of Scott, A; Harold Lovelace and Ray Dean Lovelace of Maumelle, AR; Two sisters, Nettie (Freddy) Johnson of Conway, AR and Diana (Terry) Jackson of Maumelle, AR; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one special nephew, Stacy Walker and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 am  Friday, June 7, 2013 at Trinity Grove Baptist Church, 14208 Old Maumelle Road, North Little Rock, AR.  Mr. Lovelace will lie in state from 1 pm - 6 pm Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, Sherwood, Ar.
