Obituary for Gracie Macon
Gracie Macon, 88 of Conway, departed this life July 9, 2006 at Conway Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born December 12, 1917 to the late Billy Hawkins and Maggie Richardson in the Saltillo Community. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Gale Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Lonell Macon. She leaves to cherish her memory 10 Sons, Unice Macon, Willie Macon, Gus Macon, Glenn Macon, Robert Macon, Ronald Macon, Andrew Macon all of Conway; Elvin Macon, Twin Groves; Ozell Macon and Bobby Macon both of Flint, Michigan; 3 Daughters, Vernell Stubbs, Conway; Nida Hull, Twin Groves; Nerma Cain, Flint, Michigan. 75 Grandchildren and a host of Great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday July 15, 2006 at Mt. Sinai C.O.G.I.C. Interment Ray Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday July 14, 2006 from 1-6pm Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Conway. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED..... WE CARE".
