Obituary for Gladys L. Davis
Mrs. Gladys L. Davis, 70, of Mayflower, AR departed this life Wednesday, August 27, 2014. She was born to the late Herman and Louella (Credit) McCuien in Mayflower, AR. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Andrew Davis-Brown and a daughter, Shariss Davis.Â
She graduated from Pine Street High School and was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.Â
She is survived by her five children: Steven D. McCuien of San Diego, CA; Darolyn D. Perkins of Texas; Carlos C. Brown of Conway, AR; Farentino DeShawn Davis of Los Angeles, CA and Tia Davis of Mayflower, AR; six brothers,  Elmer (Marta) McCuien, Royce (Vern) McCuien, Howard (Beverly) McCuien, Leon and Donnie McCuien, all of Little Rock, AR; one sister, Kim McCuien of Mayflower, AR; sister-in-law Melody McCuien of  Conway, AR; 7 grandchildren, Kristian, Cody, Dawson, Khaya, Jeremiah, Jacob and Kayla; 2 Great Grandchildren, Isabella and Kaitlyn; two special friends, Joyce Mosby and Essie B; three aunts, Etoy Stubbs of Mayflower, AR and Mary Hardy of New York and Wilma Credit of Conway, AR.  Â
Funeral services will be held 11 am, Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 795 Hwy 365 South, Mayflower, AR. Visitation 5-7 pm, Monday, September 1, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment Mt. Pilgrim Cemetery.Â
