Obituary for Geraldine Byers Canady
Mrs. Geraldine Byers, 74, of Cleveland, Ar departed this life Thursday, November 12, 2015. She was born to the late Freeman and Zella Mae Byers in Cleveland, AR on September 1, 1941.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Burnett Canady.
She is survived by two sons, Gary “Pumpkin” Canady of Morrilton, AR and Greg “Scooter” and wife Felesia Canady of Sherwood, AR; four grandchildren; one sister, Janice Brown of Little Rock, AR; two brothers Everette “Preacher” Byers and wife Nancy of Morrilton, AR and George Byers and wife Rose of Washington, DC.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, November 21, 2015 at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, 3433 Hwy 95 North, Cleveland, AR 72030. Visitation 2-6 pm, Friday, November 20, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment Mt. Zion Cemetery in Hattieville, AR.
