Obituary for George McCaster
George "Buddy" McCaster, Jr. of Conway departed this life May 14, 2009. Born to Ocie Wills McCaster and the late Rev. George McCaster, Sr. He was preceded in death by his father, son George McCaster III; sister, Bonnie McCaster and mother-in-law, Ethel Greenlaw. He was employed with Baptist Medical Center, North Little Rock for 38 years and also managed area car washes for many years.Survivors include his wife, Katherine McCaster of Conway; Mother, Ocie McCaster, North Little Rock; Three Brothers, Kelly McCaster and Leroy McCaster of North Little Rock; Timothy McCaster, Little Rock; Seven sisters, Rev. Fannie Washington, Helen - West Helena; Annie Bell Bradley, Scooba, MS; Renee Bankhead, Charlotte McCaster, Annie McCaster, Jacqueline McCaster and Maxine Washington all of North Little Rock; Aunt, Virginia Ellington, Bronx, New York, brother-in-laws Hosie Greenlaw and Eddie Greenlaw of Conway; Lee Andrew Greenlaw of Blytheville; sister-in-laws, Lavada Wright of Conway; Loretta Ryan of Denver, CO; Zora Wilburn of Ben Harbor, MI; Adopted daughter Vestal Pate and grand daughter of Conway; Renee Turner, Denver, CO and Adrian Ryan of Conway whom he nurtured as his own children.Funeral services 10 am Saturday Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church 601 Spruce Street in Conway. Interment Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 6-8pm Warren Hill MBC 6304 Crystal Hill Road, North Little Rock. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G.
