Obituary for George Douglas Miller
Mr. George Douglas Miller, 57, of Pine Bluff, Ar (native of Indianola, MS) departed this life Monday, April 28, 2014. He was born on July 21, 1956 to the late Lillie Mae and John F. Miller, Sr. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, George Douglas Miller, Jr.Â
Mr. Miller lived in Pine Bluff for twenty five years and was beloved by many friends there. His friends expressed to the family that he had a loving and giving soul and would do anything he could for anyone in need. He worked with several charities in Pine Bluff including the American Cancer Society. He enjoyed cooking which was his major contribution to these charities.Â
Mr. Miller was the owner of Miller’s Handyman Service and the former owner of The Hitching Post.
He is survived by his wife, Emi Miller and stepson, Tristan of Pine Bluff, AR; one daughter, Traci Simpson and granddaughter, Savanah Simpson, both of Carleton, MI; brothers John F. Miller, Jr., Tommy Miller, and Shellie Lynn Miller of Indianola; sisters Deborah Sue Williams, Indianola and Joyce Skwor of Greenville, MS.Â
A memorial service will be held 3 pm Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the Pit Stop in Pine Bluff, AR.Â
