Obituary for Gary Harris, Sr.
Mr. Gary Vincent Harris, 61, of Fort Smith, AR departed this life on Friday, January 20, 2023.
His loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened. He lived most of his life in California and I’m so glad that we got to spend time and get to know him before he passed.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents Pearline Malcum and William Gault, uncles Prince Barnes and Sam Tillman and aunt Louise Tillman-Davis.
He is survived by one child Gary Jr; two sisters, Mary and Trudie; one brother Duane Persalle; aunts Josephine, Erma Jean, Marva, and Cynthia; one uncle Chuck and a host of nieces and nephews Gregory, Sheldon, James, Grant, Darbie, Ariel; a host of first cousins Tommy, Eric, Phillip, Kevin , Darrius, Duran, Joe, Curtis, Traci, Kim, Marquita, Tyronda, Quelinda, Pinto, Prince, Heath, Simon, Samantha, Tina, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 38 Hill Loop Road, Houston, AR. Visitation will be held 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Friday, February 3, 2023 at the funeral home.
