Obituary for Frederick F. David
Mr. Frederick David, 79, of Little Rock, AR departed this life on Thursday, February 25, 2021. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey on August 20, 1941 to the late Chalmers and Mamie (Allen) David. He was he 7th of eight children.
He is preceded in death by two sisters, Mamie and Jerry and four brothers, Charles, Vernon, Thaddaus and Chalmers, Jr.
Frederick confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Union Baptist Church in Trenton, New Jersey under the leadership of the late Reverend Grayson. He was educated in the Trenton Public School System and graduated from Trenton High School. After high school, he attended Franklin Institute of Medical Science in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to become an X-Ray technician. He retired after 30 years of service from Jacobi Hospital of Bronx, New York, as a supervisor of the Radiology Department. After moving to Little Rock, he joined the Greater Second Baptist Church and later became a deacon.
He was united in marriage to Lenear for 57 years. He leaves not to mourn but to cherish his fond memories a devoted wife, Lenear David; his loving brother, Carl David and a host of many loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm, Friday, March 5, 2021 at Greater Second Baptist Church, 5615 Geyer Springs Road, Little Rock, AR. Walk-Through Visitation will be 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment Elmlawn Cemetery, 5810 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, AR.
