Obituary for Frank Sr Anderson
Deacon Frank J. Anderson, Sr. 93 of Morrilton, Arkansas passed away Monday, December 8, 2008. He was born in Atkins, Arkansas and was the son of the late Oscar & Callie Anderson. The oldest of four children all preceded him in death. Mr. Anderson was a veteran, he served during World War II and retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad.  He was married to the late Jessie (Brook) Anderson to this union 5 children was born of which 2 preceded him in death, Murlene Anderson King and Oscar James Anderson.
Brother Anderson was a faithful member of Zion Temple Church of God In Christ where he served as a Deacon, Assistant Sunday School Supt. and served the church in many other capacities.  He is survived by 3 sons and 2 daughter-in-laws Robert (Delois) Anderson, Elder Frank (Joyce) Anderson of Conway, Arkansas; and Willie Anderson of Chicago, IL; Sister-in-law Mrs. Artha May Anderson of Morrilton, Arkansas; 14 Grandchildren; 31 Great-grandchildren; 8 Great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, a special friend Mrs. Francis Campbell, and the Zion Temple Church of God In Christ family.
Services will be held at 11am Saturday December 13, 2008 at the Zion Temple COGIC 1272 Sutton Street, Conway, AR. Visitation will be 6-7pm Friday at the church. Interment Odd Fellow Cemetery, Morrilton. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home 910 Walnut Street, Conway. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED..... WE CARE".
