Obituary for Florence Earline Ausler
Mrs. Florence Earline Ausler passed away after a long illness on May 19th, in her home, surrounded by family. Born in Atchison, Kansas on March 6, 1928, to Ruth and Earl Crosswright, baptized at an early age by her grandfather, Reverend Isaiah Downing at the Second Christian Church in Atchison, Ks.  She was added to the Church of Christ, Morrilton, Arkansas in the late 1970’s..   Mrs. Ausler was a family woman to the highest degree.  She loved, enjoyed, cared for and aided her children and grandchildren every living moment of her life, it is something that the ones who were affected by her unconditional love depended on in good and bad times.  Mama always said, “Why are you crying with a loaf of bread under your arm………we heard this over and over…She never let her loved ones feel sorry for themselves.   Mrs. Ausler lived a life of activism in Rockford, Ill and was president and founder of Save Our Children, a grassroots organization instrumental in improving the quality of education in the Winnebago County Public School District 205. She was involved with the NAACP youth, mother, friend and confident to many who called her Mother.   Married to Charles W. Ausler of Plumerville for 45+ years. A daughter, Ruth Anna DePriest, and granddaughter, Theresa Dawn Ausler, two great grandsons, Tremayne M. Cain and Josiah D. Ellis, two brothers Alfred J. Crosswright of Denver, Co and Eugene E. Crosswright of Battle Creek, Mi ,  and a sister Theresa D. Skelton of Battle Creek, Mi  proceeded her in death.    Survivors include five sons, Charles W., Jr. [Wanda], and Christopher E. [Phyllis] of  Willie E. [Karen], Mi, Steven L. [Barbara] , Gregory A  [Phyllis]; seven daughters, Cozetta A., Jacqueline K. Hawkins [Richard], Bonita M. Tyus [Robert], Arretha M. Ausler, Debra L. Criswell [Eric], Sharon Y., and Antionette R. Cato [Darrell], to include 53 grandchildren, 93 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.   
Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at 11:00 AM, Church of Christ, 906 E. Harding Street, Morrilton, AR 72110.  Interment Owens Cemetery.  Public viewing will be from 10am - 11am Saturday at the church.  Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Morrilton.  "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED..... WE CARE".
