Mrs. Evelyn E. Piggee Cowan, 89, departed this life Friday, July 1, 2011. She was born September 8, 1921 to the late Gene Persons and Easter Dixon in Valdosta, GA.Â
She is survived by her husband, Otis Cowan of Conway, AR; son, William McEntyre of Richmond, VA; daughter, Erma Hicks; grandchildren, Sherry, William, Mark, Chris, Ina, and Aeisha; and a host of great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 8112 Bicentennial Road, Maumelle, AR. Family visitation will be 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment Sinai Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Conway. "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED....WE CARE."
