Evelyn (DeDe) Hamilton, 59 of Little Rock, departed this life Wednesday July 9, 2008. Born March 31, 1949 to the late Ezell Acklin and Odessa Bynum Acklin in Little Rock, Arkansas. Evelyn worked for many years in the healthcare profession as a nurses aid. She was a member of the Greater Second Baptist Church, Geyer Springs Road. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Cherry Nicole, her siblings, Albert Acklin, Betty Acklin, Clermon Acklin, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory One son, Amos Ransom of Little Rock; One daughter, LaToyia Ransom of Little Rock; Three Brothers, William H. Acklen, Little Rock; James Acklin of Sherwood; John Acklin, Little Rock; Two Sisters , Mary G. Harrington of Little Rock; Erma G. Harris of Aurora, IL; 4 Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11am Thursday July 17, 2008 at Greater Second Baptist Church 5615 Geyer Springs Rd, Little Rock. Interment Arkansas Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 6-7pm Larry G.
