Obituary for Ernest Paul Broyles
Mr. Ernest Paul Broyles was born in Conway Arkansas on August 16, 1922. He was born to Hugh Grover Broyles and Margaret Inez Mattison. Â He departed this life on June 1, 2016 at the age of 93 years. Â Ernest was one of six children (three sons and three daughters).
After graduating from high school, he moved from Arkansas to Detroit, Michigan. In 1950, he met Gladys Ruth Alexander. Â They were married on July 25, 1951. They had one son, Gregory. who preceded them in death in 1993. Â Ernest and Gladys shared 57 years of marriage together.Â
Ernest was baptized into the Church of Christ at an early age and remained an active member throughout his life. Â He served as a Deacon at the Church of Christ of Conant Gardens in Detroit, Michigan. After moving to Las Vegas in 1996, he became an active member in the Boulevard Church of Christ and the Bright Angel Church of Christ. Â Subsequent to coming back to Conway in 2002, he placed membership at the Harrison and Willow Church of Christ and later the Church of Christ in Menifee.

Ernest worked in the United States Postal Service for over 25 years. Â He served in various carrier and management positions in the Postal Service and retired in 1976. Â Ernest was an active member of the Shriners and numerous community organizations.

Ernest leaves to cherish his memory one sister, Annie Juanita Lewis of San Antonio, Texas, nieces, nephews, and other family members, as well as countless friends. Â He will be missed by a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm, Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Menifee Church of Christ, 3911 Hwy 64, Menifee, AR. Visitation 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment Robinson Cemetery in Conway, AR.Â
