Obituary for Emmitt Lovelace
Mr. Emmitt J. Lovelace, 79, of Maumelle, Ar departed this life on Thursday, March 29, 2018. He was born August 29, 1938 in Scott, Arkansas to the union of the late Rev. Harry Lovelace, Sr. and Naomi Fudge Lovelace. He was the second of eleven children.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers Harry Lovelace, Jr., Edward Lovelace, A.T. Lovelace, and Reginald Lovelace; and one sister, Jimmie Lee Lovelace.
Emmitt confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was a member of Trinity Grove Baptist Church.
Emmitt is survived by his wife, Ruby J. Lovelace of thirty years and their blended family: Four sons, Emmitt (Monica) Lovelace, Jr., Terry (Mary) Lovelace, Undra (Sandy) Lovelace, all of California and Carl (Kea) Lasker of Maumelle, AR; Seven daughters, Shirley Lovelace, Yvonne (Larry) Crawford, both of California and Carlas Lovelace of North Little Rock, AR; Kimberly, Donna Renee, Bennie Jean and Latonial, all of Maumelle, AR; three brothers, Harold (Rovanne) Lovelace and Ray (Carla) Lovelace, both of Maumelle, AR and Dearest (Alice) Lovelace of Scott, AR; two sisters, Nettie Johnson of Conway, AR and Diana (Terry) Jackson of Maumelle, AR; 27 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Trinity Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 14208 Old Maumelle Road, Maumelle, AR. Visitation 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Friday, April 6, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment Perkins Cemetery in Marche, AR.
