Obituary for Elijah Shavers
Elijah Shavers, 55 of Menifee, Arkansas departed this life January 9, 2008 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. He was born to Izola Hood Shavers and the late John Henry Shavers. He attended school at Menifee High School and was a member of Better Life Ministries. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother - Izola Shavers, Morrilton; Six Sisters - Johnnie Oliver, Betty Godbold, Donna Shavers, Sarah Foster all of Menifee; Linda Shavers, Brenda Stewart of Hot Springs; Three Brothers - Maurice Shavers, Larry Shavers of Menifee; Richard Shavers of Hot Springs; 3 uncles, Aaron Hood, Menifee; Theodore Hood, Morrilton; Bobby Hood of St. Joseph, MO; two step children, Lillie Mae Piggee, Howard Piggee, and five step grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 11am Saturday Philadelphia Baptist Church, Menifee.Interment Menifee Community Cemetery.
