Obituary for Eddie Lee Nolen, Sr.
Mr. Eddie Nolen, Sr. departed this life on Friday, June 23, 2023. Although not an avid church goer, he had a strong belief in God and was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Moscow, AR, where he was baptized.
Born February 18, 1958 in Coleman, AR, Eddie had a lifelong love of outdoor activities like fishing, hunting and baseball. But his favorite thing to do was spend time with his family.
Eddie is preceded in death by his parents Zack and Earlene Nolen; two brothers Nathan Nolen and Robert Nolen; three sisters Patricia McCoy, Ada Bell Nolen and Verlene Porter.
Eddie leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of almost 36 years Gurtha Nolen of Conway, AR; three daughters Latasha (Joseph) Nolen-Banks of Haltom City, TX; Katrina Land and Alisha (Ryan) Walker, both of Conway, AR; two sons Eddie (Mallory) Nolen, Jr. and Javerius (Aisha) Nolen; three sisters Cathlyn McCollum, Nancy Stanley and Wanda Johnson; four brothers Patrick Nolen, Billie Nolen, Terry Nolen and Kenneth Nolen; four grandsons; three granddaughters; one great grandson and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Friday, June 30, 2023 at the funeral home.
