Obituary for Eddie Lee Earnest
Mr. Eddie Lee Earnest, 76, of Little Rock, departed this earthly life at home on Saturday, January 11, 2014.  He was born to the late Jessie Williamson and Eddie Lee Earnest, Sr. on September 21, 1937 in Holly Grove, AR.

Eddie Lee was united in Holy Matrimony to Gloria Dean Parks (Earnest) in Benton, Arkansas in 1958.  Eddie and Gloria were blessed with 7 children with their union.  He worked as a forklift operator at Commercial Warehouse for forty-four years, where he retired.  He was a member of "The Domino Social Club" for four years.  

Eddie Lee was preceded in deah by his parents, Eddie Lee Earnest, Sr. and Jessie Williamson; his two brothers, Ulice Coleman, and James Guinn; his two sisters, Johnnie B. Stacker, Verbalene Wilson and a great-granddaughter Harley Earnest-Davidson.  

He leaves to cherish his memory:  His wife Gloria Earnest; five sons: Billy Ray Parris of Humphrey, AR; Kenny Ray Parris (Gloria) of Holly Grove, AR; Sherman Earnest (Sharon) of Conway, AR; Tony Earnest (Deanna) of McAlmont, AR; Eddie D. Earnest of Little Rock, AR; Three daughters Marie Booth (David) of Flint, Michigan; Donna Earnest of Little Rock, AR; and Victoria Earnest-Carodine (Lewis) of Batesville, AR; 23 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; one aunt Gertie Rose Earnest, 4 sister-in-laws; 4 brother-in-laws; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday January 18, 2014 at Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church, 601 Spruce Street in Conway, Arkansas.  Family hour 6-7 pm Friday Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, 8821 Colonel Glenn, Little Rock. Interment Robinson Cemetery in Conway, AR.

Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, 8821 Colonel Glenn, Little Rock.  "IN YOUR TIME OF NEED.... WE CARE."
